About
Antoine Ratigan, half English and half French, has called Mexico home for the past 15years. Born and raised in London, where he studied Architecture, he moved to Paris in his early twenties and entered the world of fashion. There, he became worldwide Merchandising Director at Yves Saint Laurent at the Paris headquarters, a post he held with great success for 5 years at the luxury brand.
His discovery of Mexico proved life-changing. Falling in love with its culture, craft, and people, he decided to settle there permanently, drawn by the richness and authenticity he found.
With his well-travelled eye, multicultural heritage, and a deep understanding of luxury, Antoine partnered with renowned Mexican architect Miguel Ángel Aragonés to launch Grupo Encanto. Their first project — revamping Hotel Encanto Acapulco — quickly climbed to number one on TripAdvisor. This success led to the full creation of Mar Adentro Hotel Cabos, now known as the Viceroy Los Cabos.
Following this milestone, Antoine founded Studio Antoine — a design and artistic direction agency specializing in commercial and residential projects. Offering clients a seamless, end-to-end experience, the studio brings together architecture, interior design, branding, marketing, and operations under one vision.

Now, after a decade of creation in Mexico, Antoine’s artistic journey is taking him back to Europe and beyond, with new projects emerging across the continent and internationally. As part of this next chapter, he is establishing a strong base in Barcelona, Spain, anchoring a growing global presence while continuing to craft meaningful, emotionally rich spaces around the world.
